We reduce the environmental impact

My Advisor places among its objectives the desire to increase awareness of climate change issues and intervene with concrete actions.

Thanks to the collaboration with CHOOOSE we are able to easily calculate, track and offset our carbon footprint and at the same time, we support high impact climate projects.

CHOOOSE is a Norwegian company that is responsible for reducing CO2 emissions worldwide, through the use of digital technologies that allow individuals and companies to be connected to important Gold Standard certified environmental projects through the purchase of VER (Verified Emission Reductions) or CERs (Certified Emission Reductions). For info, visit the website https://chooose.today/

Also known as carbon footprint, the ecological footprint is an environmental indicator that expresses the total amount of climate-changing emissions (greenhouse gases) emitted directly or indirectly by an activity, company, person, event or product whether it be a good or a service.

My Advisor helps companies to be sustainable, reduce carbon emissions and obtain Carbon Footprint Certification. Visit our website carbonfootprint.tech for more information

Carbon offsetting is climate action that enables individuals and organizations to balance the CO2 emissions they cannot avoid by supporting projects – such as wind farms that produce clean energy – that verifiably reduce, capture or avoid an amount proportional CO2 emissions.

The world urgently needs action against climate change. Organizations around the world, including the United Nations, are promoting the need to move towards a climate-neutral society. Time is of the essence, and the more positive climate action we can take now, the better.

This applies to both individuals and companies; we all need to address our emissions. By changing our habits and buying environmentally friendly products, we can help minimize our carbon footprint. Yet we can’t quite erase it entirely, and that’s where carbon offsetting comes into play. It’s an effective way to tackle those emissions you simply can’t reduce right now.

It’s an effective way to tackle those emissions you simply can’t reduce right now. Brands like Adidas and Sony are becoming climate neutral. Red Bull hosted the world’s first climate-positive sporting event in 2017, while Microsoft pledged to go climate-positive (which means offsetting more emissions than it has ever produced). This type of leadership sets a great example, encourages climate action, and serves as an inspiration to others.

Absolutely yes.

All projects must document the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. This is done by tracking the amount of clean energy produced, trees planted, gas captured from landfills, energy saved, etc. In addition, they all adhere to United Nations designed structures and all monitoring and documentation processes are logged. Any additional social and environmental impacts must also be reported.

All of this data is compiled into monitoring reports which are audited. These audits are combined with site visits. Reports are sent to a certification body that issues carbon credits. It is these credits that are sold to businesses or individuals.
Carbon offsetting is based on strict guidelines provided by the United Nations with carbon credits showing up on public records. When you offset your carbon emissions, the carbon credits are withdrawn and documented on the ledger as such, making it impossible to use the same credit twice. Public records are also your guarantee that the carbon has been offset.

The projects we support

los-santos

Los Santos Wind Power Project

Costa Rica, Cartago

Clean wind energy production and sustainable development initiatives.
The national electricity grid in Costa Rica has expanded significantly in recent years, with further investments in diesel generating facilities planned. Questo progetto nella regione di Los Santos genera elettricità pulita e spiazza le emissioni cThis project in the Los Santos region generates clean electricity and crowds out emissions that would be generated by other power plants connected to the national grid.he sarebbero generate da altre centrali elettriche collegate alla rete elettrica nazionale. It is also the first wind energy project developed in Costa Rica by a rural electrification cooperative.

bac-lieu

Bac Lieu wind farm

Vietnam, Bac Lieu province

Replace fossil fuels with coastal wind to power communities.
Vietnam has increasingly suffered from severe electricity shortages due to rapidly increasing demand and insufficient supply, affecting the local economy and livelihoods. This wind energy project leverages wind resources in Bac Lieu province to produce and supply electricity to the national grid to fill the energy gap.

Xenamnoy

Xenamnoy-6 Hydroelectric

Laos, Paksong, Champasak province

A double-river hydroelectric plant that supplies clean energy to the national grid.
The electricity supply in Laos PDR has been insufficient to meet the increased demand for electricity, and Thailand’s imported power comes from emission-intensive thermal power plants.
This small-scale project generates renewable electricity from the flowing waters of the Houay Makchan River in rural Laos.
